Team Manager - Family Help Service
Are you an experienced Team Manager passionate about early intervention and supporting children, young people, and families at the earliest point of need?
We're currently recruiting for an Interim Family Help Team Manager to lead and oversee a newly established, locality-based Family Help Team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and manage frontline early help services that make a real difference within the community.

Role Overview:
- Lead, manage, and maintain oversight of a Family Help team, including direct line management of staff
- Support and coordinate activity within the Early Help Access Point, ensuring effective navigation and referral across early help pathways
- Ensure children, young people, and families receive the right level of support at the right time
- Manage team performance, resources, and outcomes aligned with Family Hub and targeted intervention programmes
- Coordinate service plans that meet the needs of the local community and reflect evidence-based practice
- Champion multi-agency working and promote a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Proven experience managing early help, family support, or children's services teams
- Strong knowledge of early intervention frameworks, thresholds, and statutory/non-statutory processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage resources, performance, and service delivery effectively
- Relevant qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registered
