Technology Technician Required - Liverpool (Post-Christmas Start)

A dynamic Liverpool educational setting is seeking a dedicated Technology Technician to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a recruitment gap. This is a crucial support role, working across multiple engaging departments with a start date immediately following the Christmas break.
You will provide essential technical support across Design Technology, Food Technology, Textiles, and Art, ensuring a safe, organised, and effective learning environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Preparation & Logistics: Prepare and clear away materials, tools, ingredients, and equipment for lessons.
- In-Class Support: Provide in-class technical advice and ensure the safe and correct use of all machinery and equipment by students and staff.
- Maintenance & Safety: Conduct routine safety checks and perform basic maintenance on equipment, including ovens, workshop tools, and sewing machines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor the inventory of materials and supplies, assisting with ordering where necessary.
- Environment: Maintain a safe, organised, and engaging learning environment across all practical areas.

- Essential Experience: Proven experience in using workshop tools and machinery.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of food hygiene and current Health & Safety regulations in a practical setting.
- Skills: Organised, proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable supporting multiple subject areas.
