Are you a reliable Telehandler Driver looking for a quick, high-rate weekend contract?
Randstad is currently recruiting a skilled and experienced Telescopic Handler Operator for a busy housing development project in Kettering. This is a crucial short-term cover role, and we need someone who can hit the ground running.
The Role
Operating a telescopic forklift on a fast-paced residential housing site, your main responsibilities will include:
Safely loading and unloading deliveries of building materials.
Transporting materials (bricks, blocks, trusses) across the site to support bricklayers and groundworkers.
Assisting the Site Manager with general site logistics and housekeeping.
Strictly adhering to health and safety regulations on-site.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
A valid CPCS or NPORS card (Telescopic Handler ticket).
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe cap boots).
Proven experience operating a telehandler on a residential/housing construction site.
Excellent reliability-because this is a short 4-day cover, 100% attendance is essential.
Two checkable work references.
