Job Title: CPCS Plant & Vehicle Marshaller / Traffic Marshall

Rate: £18.00 per hour (CIS)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced CPCS A73 Plant & Vehicle Marshaller for a major construction project based in Spennymoor. You will play a crucial role in ensuring site safety, managing traffic flow, and safely directing heavy earthmoving plant and site delivery vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant & Vehicle Direction: Safely guide heavy plant, earthmoving equipment, and delivery vehicles around a busy site.
- Gate Control & Access: Manage site entrances, log incoming/outgoing transport, and control site access.
- Reversing Operations: Direct large vehicles and plant during reversing maneuvers to ensure zero incidents.
- Traffic Management: Implement and maintain safe vehicle/pedestrian segregation zones.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain strict site health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- CPCS Card: Must hold a valid CPCS A73 Plant & Vehicle Marshaller card (Red or Blue).
- Experience: Proven background working as a Vehicle Marshaller / Traffic Slinger on commercial, civil, or groundworks sites.
- Site Safety: Deep understanding of site traffic management plans and safety protocols.
- Right to Work: Full right to work in the UK.
- PPE: Full PPE required (Hard hat, high-vis top/trousers, steel toe boots).
