We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our clients warehouse team in Loughborough for a 12-month contract. If you are self-motivated with strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you.
Contract: 12-month duration
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour
Location: Onsite, Loughborough
Hours: 38 hours per week, full-time
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, set hours between 08:00 and 17:00 (to be confirmed). This is not a shift role.
Overtime: Available
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
You will be responsible for the smooth operation of warehouse activities, working with the team to ensure products are received, put away, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. Your focus will be on safely meeting our day-to-day goals and commitments to our customers, following the SQD (Safety, Quality and Delivery) model.
Key Responsibilities
Receive deliveries and returns at the loading bay.
Load and unload items such as boxes, cages, and pallets using manual handling equipment.
Check the quantity and quality of goods against the purchase order or Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN).
Book goods into the warehouse management system and put them away in designated storage zones.
Pick and assemble customer orders using radio data terminals and picking lists.
Prepare customer orders for delivery, including packaging and labelling for safe transportation.
Sort orders into designated outbound routes and safely load vehicles.

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
Strong attention to detail.
A work proficiency level of English, with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
Warehouse experience (such as picking, packing, dispatch, or forklift driving) is a benefit.
