About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join a global medical healthcare company based in Sittingbourne. This role plays an important part in supporting vital health services by ensuring efficient and accurate warehouse operations. Working in a clean and well-organised warehouse, you will carry out a variety of tasks that help maintain the smooth running of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders using a hand-held device
- Organise and maintain stock levels within the warehouse
- Complete documentation and system updates in line with company procedures
- Handle urgent calls and requests from other departments promptly
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of warehouse processes
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics setting
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks over sustained periods
- Familiarity with warehouse tools or devices (e.g. scanners, stock systems)
- Reliable team player who can also work independently when required
- Basic English and maths skills
- A responsible approach to workplace health & safety and the use of PPE
- Must live within 45 minutes walking distance or have own transport (no suitable public transport for 6am start)
