Roles and Responsibilities 📋
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be a key leader in the team, combining your own expert practice with mentoring and support for colleagues. You'll be responsible for:
Handling complex cases and providing exemplary practice in challenging situations. 🎯
Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff, including Newly Qualified Social Workers, to foster professional development. 🧑🏫
Providing professional advice and guidance to the team on complex social work issues. 💡
Leading on specific areas of practice and contributing to service development. 📈
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in line with current legislation and council procedures. ✅
Undertaking comprehensive assessments, care planning, and reviews, with a focus on promoting wellbeing and independence. 💖
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. 📂
Key Requirements ✨
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
You must be a qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree. 🎓
You hold a current and valid registration with Social Work England. ✅
You have an updated enhanced DBS check. 🛡️
You possess extensive post-qualifying experience in social work. 🧠
You have a thorough understanding of the Care Act and other relevant legislation. 📜
You have excellent leadership and communication skills. 🗣️
