Your Role as a Year 1 Teacher
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing a love of learning in our pupils as they transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage. Your key responsibilities will include:
Plan & Deliver: Design and deliver a creative, engaging, and inclusive curriculum for your Year 1 class, ensuring all pupils make excellent progress.
Inspire Young Minds: Foster a positive, stimulating, and safe classroom environment where children feel motivated to learn.
Assess & Progress: Effectively monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, tailoring your teaching to meet the needs of every child.
Phonics Excellence: Utilise a strong understanding of systematic synthetic phonics to build foundational reading and writing skills.
Build Partnerships: Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child.

What We're Looking For | Apply for this Teaching Job
We are looking for a dedicated and talented primary teacher. The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (experience in Year 1 is highly desirable).
A strong and confident knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective phonics instruction.
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
