We are seeking a highly motivated Year 2 teacher for a fixed-term contract, with excellent opportunities. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in a dynamic and supportive primary school setting.

Requirements and skills :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching experience, with a focus on Year 2
- Right to work in the UK
- 2 relevant professional /proven references
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment procedures
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for fostering a love of learning.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in all curriculum areas, catering to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess student learning regularly using a range of methods (formative and summative assessments), providing constructive feedback to promote progress.
- Identify and address individual student learning needs through targeted interventions and support.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for all students.
