I have 2 years experience in recruitment, and joined Randstad in January 2013 to start up a temp Nursing desk. Prior to starting with Randstad, I worked for a small boutique recruitment agency specialising in Accountancy & Finance.

Working in the community

Wayne recently spent the night sleeping rough on the streets of Darlington to highlight homelessness, and to raise money for Teesside YMCA.

Garry will be taking part in the 3 peaks challenge – climbing the 3 highest mountains in the UK in July, all in just 24 hours in aid of Variety Children’s Charity, aiming to raise £3000.

Ashleigh is also our company fund raising representative for Variety and regularly promotes and organises fund raising activities and events throughout Randstad Care.
Variety’s aim to improve young people’s lives by providing practical help (such as Sunshine Coaches, wheelchairs and specialist equipment) and memorable childhood experiences. 

 

Meet the team

Tom Cox - Regional Business Manager
Tom started with Randstad Care in 2005 and managed the Newcastle Branch since 2010. He has over nine years’ experience in Health and Social Care recruitment, and over four years’ experience account managing one of the largest key accounts for Randstad in the UK. Tom specialises in Qualified Social Workers, whilst assisting team members to supply other disciplines such as Allied Health Professionals and Support Staff.
Tom is a Member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (MREC), having obtained his Certificate in Recruitment Practice in 2007, and has BA (Hons) in Economics.

Garry Ogden - Principal Consultant
Garry started with Randstad Care in 2008, and has since worked up to Principal Consultant.  He has specialised in permanent recruitment for 6 years and works with clients in the private and voluntary sector, mainly to recruit management, senior management and nursing staff in the North East and Cumbria.  This ranges from children’s services, older peoples services, home care services and specialist residential services for people learning disabilities or mental health.  Garry has a BA (hons) in Journalism Studies.

Hayley Watson - Senior Account Manager/Branch Trainer
Hayley started with Randstad Care in 2010 and has worked her way up to become a senior account manager and Branch trainer within the business.  She has over 4 years’ experience working with national private and voluntary organisations and also 13 local authorities in the North East of England and Cumbria areas. Hayley provides Qualified Social Workers from newly qualified level up to senior management level for both children and adult services.

Ashleigh Mazouji, Consultant
Ashleigh joined Randstad Care in January 2013, prior to this she worked for a small financial services recruitment agency. She provides temporary Nurse cover to NHS Trusts/Private & Voluntary organisations across the North East, Cumbria and Yorkshire, specialising primarily in Community Mental Health and Substance Misuse.  Ashleigh graduated from Newcastle University with a BA (Hons) in Geography in 2012 and is a Member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (MREC), having obtained her Certificate in Recruitment Practice in 2014.

Wayne Jackson, Consultant
Wayne started with Randstad Care in June 2013 following 3 years of previous experience in recruitment. He provides temporary and permanent residential staff and support workers to local authorities, housing associations, private organisations and charities across the North East and Cumbria. Wayne graduated from Northumbria University in 2011 with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Business Management.

Shelley Stonehouse – Account Manager
Shelley joined Randstad Care in 2013 as an Account Manager supplying Qualified Social Workers to authorities in the North, specialising in adults and children’s Services.  Shelley has over 12yrs experience of recruiting within the public sector, including NHS, Education, Care and CQC - the Care regulatory body.  In 2007 Shelley obtained her Certificate in Recruitment Practice and became a member for the REC.

Richard Sutherland – Key Account Consultant
Richard joined Randstad Care in September 2014 as part of the Newcastle Key Accounts team. Prior to joining Randstad, Richard worked in the mobile phone industry which followed a career in football coaching. Richard recruits for Qualified Social Work posts across children's and adult's services including child protection, learning disabilities and community mental health within local authorities and various departments across NHS trusts in the North East. Richard has recently gained his certificate in recruitment practice in March 2016.
