RoleRole & Responsibilities
You will be working one-to-one with a child, supporting their learning and development within the EYFS framework. You'll build strong relationships with the child, their family, and the wider team, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment. You'll be actively involved in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to the child's individual needs. This is a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's life.
Main tasks include
- Delivering engaging and stimulating 1:1 learning experiences
- Creating and implementing individualized learning plans
- Building strong relationships with the child and their family
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a consistent approach
- Monitoring and assessing the child's progress
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Minimum Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification
- Recent experience supporting children with SEN
- Passionate about early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding children
- A nurturing and supportive approach to learning
- Ability to create engaging learning activities
- Experience working within EYFS is highly desirable
- Immediate availability is essential
