We have a fantastic Locum Advanced Practitioner Opportunity based within the Duty & Assessment Team in the Rochdale, Greater Manchester area.

Responsibilities:

• Hold a reduced caseload of complex cases
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to NQSWs and experienced Social Workers
• Role model best practice in frontline safeguarding and assessments
• Support the Team Manager with quality assurance and practice development
• Deputise for the Team Manager when required- Chairing strategy discussions, initiating Section 47 enquiries, leading complex multi-agency meetings
  

To be considered for the Advanced Practitioner role:

• 3+ years' experience in Children's Services, particularly Duty & Assessment
• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Registered with Social Work England
• Strong understanding of safeguarding thresholds, Section 47, and early intervention
• Experience supporting NQSWs and contributing to service development
