Randstad is recruiting on behalf of Enfield Council for an Approved Mental Health Professional to join their Emergency Duty Team (EDT) on a sessional basis.
This role is ideal for an experienced AMHP who can work autonomously during out-of-hours shifts, delivering statutory mental health duties and safeguarding interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake Mental Health Act assessments during out-of-hours periods.
Respond to urgent and emergency referrals, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Make critical decisions in complex and high-pressure situations.
Liaise with police, health professionals, and other agencies to coordinate care and interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely records of all work undertaken.
Requirements
Qualified Approved Mental Health Professional with current approval status.
Current Social Work England Registration .
Strong working knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Care Act, and related legislation.
Ability to work independently during unsocial hours and manage high-pressure situations.

Hourly rate of £37.99 per hour.
Sessional EDT shifts between 1:00am - 9:00am.
