Are you a lead asbestos surveyor or analyst who is looking for a career defining opportunity to step up into asbestos quality management.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within an establised and industry leading asbestos consultancy based in Kent. They require an asbestos Quality Manager to assist the branch manager with the successful delivery of ongoing projects run out of the office
The consultancy can boast a diverse portfolio of very interesting and challenging contracts across mainly commercial and housing sectors. This is an essential assignment for them and the successful postholder will play a vitally important role in moving the consultancy forward.
The Role:
- Overseeing output of surveying teams from a quality point of view.
- Assisting the lab manager run the asbestos sampling lab and helping with the appointment of analysts
- Maintaining and developing Quality Managing Systems with UKAS accreditation to ISO17020 and ISO17025.
- Carrying out onsite audits, inspections and quality control.
- Liaising with UKAS.
- Advising on training requirements.
- Complying with UKAS documentation and procedures.
- Liaising with the company's portfolio of clients as and when required.
About You:
You must hold the BOHS P402 qualifications or RSPH equivalent as a minimum whilst a P405 in asbestos would be desirable. An experience of working in contaminated land is highly desirable also.
