Job Title: Azure Solution/Technical Architect
Location: London/Sheffield (2-3 days a week onsite)
Contract Length: 3 months initial, with potential for extension.
Daily Rate: £600-£650 umbrella
About the role:
A leading financial organisation is seeking a highly proficient and proactive Solution/Technical Architect to contribute to high-level and low-level designs within our evolving technical landscape. This role requires a senior individual capable of handling complex technical concepts and communicating them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-level and low-level architectural designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
- Work adaptably within agile methodologies.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives, particularly using Terraform.
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of DevOps principles.
Required skills and experience:
- Strong proficiency in Azure.
- Experience with on-premise architecture.
- Proven ability to present and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
- Foundational understanding of DevOps.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
Desirable experience:
- Banking/financial services experience is ideal, but not mandatory if proficiency and collaboration skills are demonstrated.
