Are you a highly skilled and technically strong M&E Engineer looking for a dynamic role with an outstanding salary of £51,000?
The Role:
As a Foot Mobile Capacity Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive M&E maintenance. Using public transport with your provided travelcard, you will navigate your designated London zone, managing your own workload and acting as a technical expert on site.
Key Responsibilities:
M&E Maintenance: Carry out routine PPM and reactive maintenance on all mechanical and electrical plant, including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, lighting, and power systems. Utilise the BMS to monitor and maintain optimal building conditions.
Health & Safety Compliance: Operate a stringent Permit to Work (PTW) and LOTO system. Prepare and use detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS) for all tasks, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Reactive & Remedial Works: Swiftly respond to and remedy plant faults, defects, and fabric-related issues. Proactively identify areas for improvement and provide details for remedial works, including parts lists and timescales.
Sub-contractor Management: Supervise visiting sub-contractors, administer their work permits, and ensure they operate safely and in line with contractual requirements.
Administration & Reporting: Meticulously complete all relevant paperwork and use the CMMS (Maximo) to update and close out PPM and reactive tasks, ensuring compliance with all KPIs and SLAs.
Essential Skills & Experience:
A time-served engineer with a formal qualification (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).
Proven experience in a commercial building services maintenance role.
