Essential Requirements
... - Hold a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance or equivalent.
- Proven experience in providing careers advice to young people in an educational setting.
- An up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
- The Eligibility to work in the UK and relevant professional references.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide impartial, high-quality one-to-one careers guidance interviews.
- Develop and deliver a range of careers resources and group interventions for various year groups.
- Produce detailed and personalised student action plans following guidance sessions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Stay abreast of post-16 education pathways, including apprenticeships, university, and vocational training.
- Effectively manage and support referrals for Year 13 students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and the wider student support team to integrate careers education into the curriculum.
- Organise and assist with careers-related events, such as mock interviews and career fairs.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of guidance and interventions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Utilise and interpret up-to-date Local Labour Market Information (LMI) to inform student advice.
