We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Assessment Team in Guildford, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your assessment skills will directly contribute to safeguarding children and promoting positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
... Complete high-quality assessments within statutory timescales
Manage a diverse caseload of children and families
Liaise effectively with partner agencies to coordinate intervention and support
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences and legal proceedings
Keep the child's voice central to all planning and decision-making
Requirements:
Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
Minimum of one year's post-ASYE experience in frontline statutory children's services
Strong assessment, risk analysis, and planning skills
Ability to work under pressure with a child-focused, professional approach
