We are now looking for an experienced and compassionate Children's Home Manager to lead our dedicated team and help shape the future of our home.

About the Role

As the Children's Home Manager, you will take the lead in creating a warm, stable, and child-centred environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring the home provides high-quality care and meets all Ofsted and safeguarding standards, while fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.

You will:

• Lead and inspire a team of caring, committed residential staff.
  
  
• Ensure that every child's individual needs, goals, and voices are at the heart of daily practice.
  
  
• Oversee care planning, behaviour support, and therapeutic approaches.
  
  
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and strive for excellence in all aspects of care.
  
  
• Build trusted relationships with families, social workers, and multi-agency professionals.
  
  
• Manage budgets, resources, and team development effectively.
  
  

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both professional expertise and a genuine passion for care.

You'll need:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  
  
• Experience managing an Ofsted-regulated EBD home.
  
  
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and children's legislation.
  
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and empower others.
  
  
• A calm, empathetic approach and a passion for helping children overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
