What you'll bring:
- Active NISCC Registration and NVQ Level 3 in a care-related subject
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Safeguarding Level 2 and Advanced CPI / Safety Interventions training
- Proven experience supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behaviours
What you'll do:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people while following personalised care guidelines.
- Assist with everyday life - from personal care routines and meals to safe medication management.
- Stand by young people during tough moments, using proactive techniques to safely defuse distress and challenging situations.
Please note: Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
