Children's Residential Team Leader

Full Time - 40 hours per week / 5 Shifts
Rate of Pay £14 per hour
The main responsibilities include:
Assisting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in running the home
Promoting a positive environment for young people with specific needs, and providing practical and emotional support.
Key duties involve:
Supervising support workers
Writing reports
Participating in reviews and care plans
Leading shifts
Handling various aspects of the young people's care (personal care, activities, health needs).
The role also requires:
Administrative tasks
Liaison with other professional
Teamwork and adherence to various policies
Will be involved in training junior staff
Driving the home's transport
Undertaking other delegated tasks.
Essential qualifications:
Good communication
Teamwork and leadership skills
Willingness to undertake training
A full UK driving license (or working towards it)
Diploma level 3 in children and young people
Experience working in a caring environment with young people.
The position involves a 24-hour rota system, including evenings and weekends, with 28 days of annual leave.
