Exciting opportunities are now available for Classroom Assistants across Sefton secondary schools, with placements in Crosby, Maghull, Bootle, and Southport.
We offer both long term and day to day supply.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist subject teachers with lesson delivery, resource preparation, and classroom management.
- Provide targeted academic support to small groups in core curriculum subjects.
- Guide students through classwork to ensure sustained focus, comprehension, and completion.
- Promote positive pupil conduct and engagement in line with school behaviour policies.
- Support students as a designated reader or scribe during mock and formal examinations.
- Supervise pupils during scheduled break times, lunchtimes, and lesson transitions across the school.
What You Need:
- Experience working with young people (schools, sports coaching, care, youth work).
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willing to process one immediately).
- Reliable, energetic, and adaptable attitude.
