We are seeking a trustworthy, meticulous, and reliable Cleaner to maintain high hygiene standards at a public legal facility in Hove. This long-term temporary contract is ideal for an experienced cleaning professional looking for stable, consistent evening hours.
Role Overview
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday.
Working Hours: 15:30 - 17:30 daily.
Contract Type: Temporary (6th July 2026 - 30th September 2026).
Location: Hove (BN3 area).
Dress Code:, dark clothing (Strictly no joggers).
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning: Carry out thorough daily housekeeping duties including hoovering, mopping floors, dusting, and wiping down touchpoints.
Washroom Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and maintain toilet facilities to excellent hygiene standards.
Waste Management: Empty internal waste bins and ensure rubbish is safely and neatly put away in designated disposal areas.
Stock Control: Monitor consumable supplies and ensure new cleaning stock is neatly stored away upon delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
Experience: Proven professional background in commercial, office, or public sector cleaning.
COSHH Awareness: Practical knowledge and experience handling chemical agents and equipment safely under COSHH regulations.
Vetting Requirement: Due to the secure nature of the site, candidates must possess a clean Basic DBS check with no criminal convictions.
Attributes: Punctual, honest, and dedicated to working efficiently within a sensitive environment.
