Job Summary:
This key role involves leading financial planning and analysis, supporting commercial strategy, developing financial models, and partnering with various business units. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision making and improving overall financial performance.
Requirements:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the company's planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Analyze financial results and highlight key trends and improvement areas.
Commercial Strategy:
- Work with different teams to create financial plans that support business goals.
- Review the financial impact of new projects and suggest ways to improve outcomes.
Financial Modelling:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to guide decision-making.
Performance Tracking:
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success.
- Create dashboards and reports to share insights with senior leadership.
Budget Management:
- Lead the budgeting process and ensure it aligns with company strategy.
- Monitor spending vs. budget and report on any differences.
Business Partnering:
- Support departments like sales, product, and marketing with financial advice.
- Help assess the financial impact of business initiatives, including pricing decisions.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and recommend actions to reduce them and protect the business.
Qualification/Education:
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification is required.
Skills:
Strong financial modeling skills (3-statement models); proficiency with financial planning tools such as Datarails; excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex financial data clearly; comfortable working cross-functionally and in fast-paced environments; experience in pricing analysis or pricing strategy is highly desirable.
