• Supporting team leadership and service development within Early Help
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people
• Supervising qualified and unqualified social work and social care staff in the absence of the Team Manager
• Applying solution-focused approaches to complex decision-making and risk management
• Using assessment frameworks and evidence-based tools to inform planning and interventions
  
  

• A BSc in Social Work (or equivalent)
• Social Work England registration
• Recent experience working in a similar role or team
• Experience supervising social work and social care staff
• Strong knowledge of the Assessment Framework and relevant assessment and planning tools
• In-depth understanding of relevant legislation- Children Act 1989 & 2004, Adoption & Children Act 2002 and Children and Young Persons Act 2008
• The ability to make complex decisions while managing risk effectively
