Position: Contract Asbestos Surveyor (Social Housing)
Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Suburbs
Contract Length: 12 Months+ (Ongoing)
Day Rate: £220 - £230

An excellent long-term contract opportunity is available for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to work on a major social housing portfolio across Birmingham. We are seeking a dedicated professional for an ongoing contract expected to last for a minimum of one year, but is likely to be an open ended longterm contract for the right candidate.
The Opportunity:
This is a stable, long-term contract focused on carrying out crucial asbestos surveys within residential properties. You will be operating primarily across the suburbs of Birmingham, providing essential safety information for a key housing client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting management surveys with Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) elements on social housing properties.
- Surveying communal areas associated with residential blocks.
- Performing re-inspections and assessing external property elements as required.
Candidate Essentials:
- Qualifications: Must hold a valid BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 qualification.
- Experience: Demonstrable recent experience in conducting surveys, particularly within a social housing or residential setting, is essential.
- Equipment: Candidates are required to provide their own survey toolkit and appropriate PPE, including a half-mask with a recent face-fit certificate.
- Transport: You must have your own reliable vehicle for travel to sites across the Birmingham area.
- Certification: A valid Asbestos Awareness certificate is mandatory.
