Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor (Ad-Hoc / Flexible Contract)
Location: North West England (Covering the region between Manchester and Carlisle)
Rate: £250 - £270 p/d, plus hotels/accommodation paid directly if away from home
IR35 Determination: Outside of scope
Contract Length: Ongoing / Ad-hoc
Working Days: Highly flexible (Ideal for filling gaps in your diary, e.g., 1-3 days a week)
The Role:
Are you a freelance asbestos surveyor who currently works a few days a week and is looking for a reliable client to help fill up the rest of your diary?
We are partnering with a highly respected environmental consultancy to find two contract Asbestos Surveyors to cover an ongoing stream of ad-hoc work. The geographical patch spans from Manchester all the way up to Carlisle, meaning you will ideally be based somewhere within this region to easily pick up jobs as they come in.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting commercial management and refurbishment surveys across a variety of sites.
- Handling ad-hoc project work, which regularly includes contracts for major infrastructure clients such as Network Rail.
- Managing your schedule flexibly to take on available days that fit around your existing commitments.
About You:
- You must be a BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) qualified asbestos surveyor.
- You will have around 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience. My client is specifically looking for surveyors at this stage in their career who are eager to branch out, rather than highly senior consultants who may find the day-to-day surveying repetitive.
- You must have a strong, proven background in conducting commercial management and refurbishment surveys.
- You must be based within the North West or Cumbria region to comfortably service the required locations.
- You must provide your own reliable transportation, survey toolkit, and essential PPE.
If this opportunity resonates with you, and you want to top up your wweek with a steady stream of flexible contract work, then apply today or get in contact using the details provided!
