Randstad C&P are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to manage various high-end, bespoks schemes concurrently. The role will involve managing varoius projects across Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, valued at up to £5m. Each project will be unique in its requirements, thus a well-rounded background within high-end, bespoke projects is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of construction contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project specifications.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, including scope changes, delays, and disputes, to safeguard project timelines and budgets.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers, negotiating favorable terms and monitoring performance to uphold quality standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses, and managing cost variances to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Monitor contract compliance throughout the construction process, conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in contract management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of overseeing contracts for high-end residential projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, procurement practices, and relevant legal frameworks, with the ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
