Cover Supervisor- Liverpool

We're looking for passionate Cover Supervisors to join our team across Liverpool. This is your chance to make a real impact on student's learning, earning a daily rate of £90 to £95.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be a vital link in a school's daily operations, ensuring continuity of education when a teacher is absent. You won't be required to plan or mark lessons; instead, you'll manage the classroom and supervise students as they complete pre-prepared work. This is a dynamic role perfect for anyone looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting.
Pay Rate: £90 to £95 per day.

- L1-L3: City Centre
- L4-L7: Anfield, Everton, Fairfield, Tuebrook, Edge Hill

- L9-L12: Aintree, Fazakerley, Croxteth, Norris Green, West Derby
- L13-L16: Broadgreen, Old Swan, Knotty Ash, Wavertree, Childwall
- L17-L19: Aigburth, Sefton Park, Allerton, Mossley Hill, Garston
- L20-L28: Bootle, Orrell, Speke, Halewood, Netherley, Stockbridge Village
- L30-L40: Netherton, Maghull, Kirkby, Prescot, Rainhill, Huyton, Formby, Ormskirk, Burscough
Core Duties:
- Classroom Management: Supervising students and managing behaviour in line with the school's policy.
- Lesson Delivery: Delivering pre-prepared lessons and resources left by the absent teacher.
- Student Support: Providing guidance and support to students, answering questions about the assigned work.
- Reporting: Reporting back to the teacher on student engagement, behaviour, and any issues that arose during the lesson.
- Safeguarding: Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
Skills & Qualifications Needed:
- Experience: Experience working with children or young people (this doesn't have to be in a school setting, but it's a plus!).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Classroom Presence: The ability to be assertive, confident, and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adaptability: The flexibility to handle new subjects and year groups, and to think on your feet.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
