We are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of our secondary schools throughout Liverpool. With both immediate starts and positions locked in for September, we can offer work that fits entirely around your schedule.

Requirements:

• Experience working with groups of children (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Coaching, tutoring, etc..) in either mainstream environments or SEN (Special Educational Needs) settings.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
• Strong presence and confidence to manage groups of students.
• Clear, assertive, and professional communication skills.

Duties:

• Supervise secondary school classes (Ages 11-16) in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Deliver pre-set work and lesson plans left by the subject teacher.
• Maintain a focused, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour efficiently using the school's behaviour policy.
• Assist students with their queries and keep them on-task.
• Collect completed work at the end of the lesson and return it to the department.
• Report back on any student achievements or behavioural issues using school systems.
