Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Secondary)

About the Role
Are you looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, or are you an experienced Cover Supervisor seeking a stable role in a thriving local school?
Randstad Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to join a highly regarded secondary school and sixth form in Benfleet. In this role, you will lead lessons across key stages using pre-set plans, keeping pupils focused, engaged, and supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects (KS3 & KS4).
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school standards and expectations.
- Create a positive, structured learning environment.
- Collect completed classwork and return it to subject departments.
What You Need
- Prior experience working with young people (e.g., teaching assistant, youth worker, sports coach, or graduate tutor).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexibility, confidence, and a proactive attitude.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
