Pay: £34,000 - £37,000 per annum (depending on experience and knowledge)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Damp & Mould Decorator to join our Westminster social housing contract on a permanent, full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, forward-thinking company that values customer service and community care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out damp and mould treatment works within both occupied and void social housing properties.

• Diagnose causes of damp, condensation, and mould, and implement suitable remedial actions.

• Apply antifungal washes, specialist paints, and treatments in line with specifications.

• Undertake minor plastering, decorating, and other repair works following damp treatments.

• Maintain high standards of workmanship while adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and in a resident-friendly manner.

• Accurately complete job sheets and communicate updates with supervisors as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in damp and mould treatment and general property maintenance.

• Relevant trade qualification: City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 NVQ in a relevant trade (e.g., tiling, plastering, painting).

• CSCS Card - Blue or working towards.

• Strong health and safety awareness in domestic/social housing environments.

• Experience working in both occupied and void properties.

• Good knowledge of common damp treatments and related repair methods.

• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full UK or automatic driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
