We are seeking a skilled Damp & Mould Decorator to join our Westminster social housing contract on a permanent, full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, forward-thinking company that values customer service and community care.
Carry out damp and mould treatment works within both occupied and void social housing properties.
Diagnose causes of damp, condensation, and mould, and implement suitable remedial actions.
Apply antifungal washes, specialist paints, and treatments in line with specifications.
Undertake minor plastering, decorating, and other repair works following damp treatments.
Maintain high standards of workmanship while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and in a resident-friendly manner.
Accurately complete job sheets and communicate updates with supervisors as needed.
Proven experience in damp and mould treatment and general property maintenance.
Relevant trade qualification: City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 NVQ in a relevant trade (e.g., tiling, plastering, painting).
CSCS Card - Blue or working towards.
Strong health and safety awareness in domestic/social housing environments.
Experience working in both occupied and void properties.
Good knowledge of common damp treatments and related repair methods.
Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK or automatic driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
Company van provided (for work use only).
