About the Role: Data Assistant
This full-time Data Assistant position, starting ASAP, is based in the vibrant area of, Leeds, supporting an 11-18 secondary school. The role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of school data, covering a wide range of responsibilities from assessment and timetabling to statutory returns. This is an essential position to cover a sickness absence,and a high degree of flexibility will be required from the successful candidate. The role requires a candidate to use their strong attention to detail and confidence with data systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

- Full understanding of relevant school policies and codes of practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Skills Required
- Very good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence in using data systems (e.g., Arbor, ClassCharts).
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and circulate internal leadership reports on behaviour and attendance.
- Check, print, and distribute student reports in line with the school calendar.
- Undertake ad hoc student and staff timetable changes, reissuing them as needed.
- Finalise Post 16 timetables following GCSE results publication.
- Maintain accurate student records, including Pupil Premium entitlement.
- Assist with the production and submission of statutory returns, like the school census.
- Set up and administer parent consultation evenings, providing analysis on booking and attendance.
- Handle in-year starters and leavers, including managed moves and Alternative Provision.
- Provide user access to school systems such as Arbor, ClassCharts, and SISRA.
- Support the Exams Officer with pre-exam administration like seating plans and registers.
