Are you a data detective with a knack for unpicking complex financial datasets? We are looking for two Data Auditors to join a fast-paced Finance function during a critical period of system integration and reporting enhancement.
This role sits at the intersection of finance, data, and systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data migrating from legacy systems into Dynamics 365 F&O, while streamlining how that data is stored and shared across the group.
The Role
As a Data Auditor, your primary mission is to ensure accuracy, consistency, and visibility. You will extract data from multiple environments, validate it against business rules, and build the "source of truth" reporting suites that the leadership team relies on.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Extraction & Validation: Extract financial and operational data from D365 F&O (using DMF, OData, and BYOD) and reconcile it against legacy spreadsheets and PDFs.
Audit & Cleansing: Identify root causes of data quality issues, performing deep-dive validation to ensure AR/AP, cash flow, and project accounting figures are beyond reproach.
SharePoint Management: Organize and maintain data repositories within SharePoint, ensuring version control and secure access for stakeholders across the group.
Advanced Reporting: Transform raw, unstructured data using Power Query to build robust Excel (Power Pivot) models and Power BI dashboards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Translate technical data discrepancies into clear, actionable insights for finance and operational managers.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who doesn't just "clean" data but understands the financial story behind the numbers.
Essential Skills:
3-5 years' experience in a data auditing, reporting, or analytics role, ideally within a Finance or ERP environment.
Systems Expertise: Practical experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (GL, AP, AR modules).
Technical Toolkit: Advanced Excel (Power Query/Pivot) and strong SQL skills for complex joins and aggregations.
SharePoint Proficiency: Experience managing data documentation and collaborative environments within SharePoint.
Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to handle large, inconsistent, or "messy" datasets and turn them into structured, governed information.
Why Apply?
While this begins as a 3-month contract, we are looking for long-term collaborators. This project offers a direct path to a permanent position for candidates who demonstrate an ability to improve our data governance and reporting frameworks.
