We are looking for an experienced Disrepair Project Lead to join our team in Eastleigh.
About the Role: As a key member of the Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team within a large housing association, you will plan and deliver a wide range of complex projects. This involves managing cases from inception to completion, adhering to all legislative requirements, timescales, and internal policies. You'll work collaboratively to build strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as a trusted partner for legal disrepair cases, housing ombudsman investigations, insurance claims, and other high-profile complaints. The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with 3 days in the office and 2 at home.
About You: You will be an experienced professional with a proactive and forward-thinking approach. You will have specific experience with damp and mould, managing complaints, and knowledge of disrepair properties, ideally within a social housing context. You are committed to customer safety and satisfaction and eager to make a significant difference.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering a wide range of complex disrepair projects.
- Managing cases from inception to completion in accordance with legislation, timescales, and policies.
- Building strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Acting as a trusted partner for legal disrepair cases, housing ombudsman investigations, and high-profile complaints.
- Ensuring actions are customer-focused and represent value for money.
Requirements:
- Experience with damp and mould.
- Experience managing complaints.
- Knowledge of disrepair properties.
- Experience in social housing (ideal).
- Proactive and forward-thinking approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Benefits:
- Salary: £33,000 to £37,173 per annum
- Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
