The Role

This role is based within a specialist setting that caters to students with a wide spectrum of needs, including Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), Physical Disabilities, and Complex Communication Needs. You will be responsible for a small class group, ensuring that every lesson is accessible, engaging, and purposeful.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Pedagogy: Design and implement a multi-sensory curriculum that meets the high expectations of the school while remaining flexible to student needs.
• Holistic Assessment: Use specialised tracking tools to monitor progress across cognitive, social, and physical domains.
• Team Leadership: Manage a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, fostering a collaborative classroom culture focused on pupil achievement.
• Professional Liaison: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team (SALT, OT, and Physio) to ensure all EHCP provisions are integrated into daily learning.

Requirements
