Key Responsibilities
- EYFS Delivery & Planning: Lead and plan engaging, curriculum-aligned activities that foster every child's individual development and learning journey.
- Key Person Responsibilities: Maintain up-to-date developmental records, conduct assessments, and build collaborative, trusted relationships with parents and guardians.
- Safeguarding & Room Support: Uphold strict safeguarding, health, and safety standards while supporting and mentoring Level 2 practitioners and assistants.
- Inclusive Practice: Identify and support additional learning or development needs, collaborating with SENCOs where required.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualification: A recognized NVQ Level 3 in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience: Proven experience working within an Early Years setting and strong familiarity with the EYFS framework.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational skills, leadership initiative, and a warm, nurturing approach.
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new check).
