Key Responsibilities
- Promote Learning & Play: Support the implementation of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
- Child Wellbeing & Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children, maintaining high standards of safeguarding and hygiene.
- Key Person Duties: Build strong, positive relationships with children, tracking their progress and communicating effectively with parents/carers.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Level 3 practitioners, room leaders, and nursery management to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualification: A recognized NVQ Level 2 in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child safeguarding practices.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with early years children.
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
