Your Role and Responsibilities
- Provide high-standard, nurturing care to young children, supporting their emotional, social, and developmental milestones.
- Assist with play-based learning and creative curriculum delivery to turn playtime into learning time.
- Foster independence and curiosity by encouraging positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and confidence.
- Maintain clear professional boundaries while creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Collaborate effectively with early years teams and parents to ensure an exceptional, secure setting.
- Bring energy, kindness, and patience to every day while strictly adhering to safeguarding policies and nursery procedures.
What we need from you
- Experience: A proven background working with young children in an education, care, or early years environment.
- Registration: Must be registered, or willing to register, under the PVG scheme.
- Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 in Childhood Practice, Social Services (Children and Young People), or an equivalent early years qualification is highly desirable (or currently working towards it).
- Drivers: A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability to different settings, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
