Your Responsibilities as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:
Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists and EYFS Teachers.
Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and creative activity setup.
Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards.
Provide assistance with EYFS lesson plans and "Learning Journeys."
Support children across all Seven Areas of Learning.
Give extra support to children with special educational needs (SEN).
Help mark work and record student observations.
Report student progress to the class teacher.
Help look after the children during school trips and activities.
Look after children that are unwell.
Attend meetings and training sessions.
Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups.
A positive attitude and effective communication skills.
Essential requirements:
TA Qualified (Level 2 or 3).
Experience working with young people in an EYFS or Nursery setting.
Class management skills.
Comfort managing challenging behaviour.
Able to engage with and motivate children.
Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
