About the Role
We are looking for a Programme Manager - Engineering to lead and support the Engineering curriculum in a progressive, learner-focused educational institution in Leeds. This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to become permanent, ideal for someone with experience in Electronic and Manufacturing Engineering education who is ready to step into a leadership role.
You will lead on the delivery of Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) and Level 4 apprenticeships, supporting learners in vocationally rich, professionally aligned courses.

Essential Requirements
... - Degree in a relevant Engineering field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing).
- Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and growth of the Engineering Department's provision.
- Manage a team of academic and support staff.
- Set and monitor performance targets to ensure high achievement.
- Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Design and oversee schemes of work and assessment plans.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality student experience.
- Monitor student retention, attendance, and success rates.
- Analyse data to inform curriculum improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
- Provide advice, guidance, and pastoral support to students.
