Duration: 6-month initial contract.
Pay Rate: Between £33.50 and £35.50 per hour (dependent on experience).
Working Hours: Mon-Thur (08:00 - 16:30) and Friday (08:00 - 13:00), with flexibility.
Highly Desired: Candidates with specific experience or knowledge of engine products for electric power applications will be viewed very favourably.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead high-performing, cross-functional teams to deliver functional requirements aligned with product strategy and financial targets.
Establish and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules in support of critical Gateway deliverables.
Facilitate key presentations, including NPI Governance meetings, Stakeholder updates, and issue resolution sessions.
Deliver weekly and monthly progress updates to senior management, highlighting risks and concerns
Manage development, pilot, and first-production builds through the operations phase.
Guide and coach junior project management members and global team representatives.
The ideal candidate:
Experience in Design, Development, Engineering, or Operations and leading cross-functional teams.
A University degree or equivalent project management experience (10 years).
Experience within automotive engine manufacturing, aerospace, or general mechanical manufacturing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Strong personal initiative, exceptional communication, and the ability to work independently while identifying cost-containment and continuous improvement opportunities.
