The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Engineering Manager to join our London-based team. This is a critical role responsible for managing the daily operations of a control room, overseeing a team of engineers, and ensuring the seamless operation of the site's entire business infrastructure. You will be instrumental in the management of all daily tasks, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems on site, including Building Management Systems (BMS), HV SCADA, Schneider, and lighting.
Safety & Compliance: Approve all RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and issue Sanctions to Isolate. Ensure all PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) work is completed correctly.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring they are carrying out operational and maintenance activities safely and effectively.
Performance Management: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure contract obligations are met.
Subcontractor Management: Oversee the permit-to-work process for all subcontractors on site.
We're Looking For Someone With
Qualifications:
C&G/NVQ Level 3 (electrical bias) or equivalent
Significant experience in a maintenance environment.
Familiarity with Schneider BMS is a distinct advantage.
Desirable:
HV Authorised status is desirable.
Knowledge of CDM (Construction (Design and Management) Regulations).
