We are looking for an Estimator to join our collaborative civil engineering tendering team and shape key infrastructure projects across the UK. In this role, you will work right at the heart of our work-winning pipeline, pricing major water and civil engineering schemes while collaborating with bid writers, procurement specialists, and site teams.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive cost estimates for PQQs and ITTs across water, tunnelling, and groundworks projects.
- Work closely with planners and bid managers to develop sensible, cost-effective construction methodologies.
- Present estimate build-ups at adjudication meetings and ensure smooth handovers to operational teams upon contract award.
- Identify key project risks and opportunities while maintaining accurate assumption registers.
You bring practical estimating or operational experience within civil engineering and enjoy solving complex pricing puzzles. We value fresh perspectives and clear communication over rigid career paths, so whether you have a trade background or formal engineering training, we want to hear from you.
- Practical exposure to civil engineering schemes such as pipelines, shafts, MEICA, or groundworks.
- Familiarity with tender build-ups, bill of quantities, and standard estimating software tools.
- Strong organisational skills with a knack for managing your time across multiple priorities.
- Great interpersonal skills and the confidence to chat with team members at every level.
