We are seeking a dedicated EYFS professional to join an inclusive primary academy in the Blackpool area, with positions available for both long-term and day-to-day roles starting this September.
Our partner school is known for its supportive and welcoming environment, which includes a dedicated provision for students with SEND. The school is easily accessible by public transport and has on-site parking.
The Role
You will be an integral part of the school community, responsible for nurturing a love of learning in young children. Your key duties will include:
Planning & Preparation: Designing rich and stimulating learning activities that are differentiated to meet the needs of all pupils, building on their existing skills and interests.
Team Leadership: Leading the EYFS team, ensuring every member can contribute effectively.
Classroom Management: Overseeing all classroom responsibilities, including PPA time, marking, continuous provision setup, and daily administration.
Assessment & Reporting: Utilizing assessment information to inform future learning and ensure good progress for every child.
Parent & Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support a seamless transition into school life.
Safeguarding: Upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ensuring the safety and welfare of all children.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous experience in an EYFS or Foundation Lead role.
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
The ability to lead a team and manage staff effectively.
Excellent planning, communication, and organizational skills.
