Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teacher to join a primary school team in Bootle (L20/L30). This is a fixed-term Maternity Cover position starting in June 2026 and lasting for one full year.

Responsibilities

Lead learning for children aged 0-5 years, delivering the EYFS framework through engaging, play-based activities.
Prioritise the mental and emotional well being of pupils, adapting teaching methods to suit individual developmental needs.
Conduct a mix of one-to-one support and group learning sessions.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior leadership to maintain a nurturing environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of EYFS experience within a UK setting.
Proven experience working with the 0-5 age range.
Flexibility to commit to a long-term maternity contract.
Childcare experience is highly preferred.
