About the Role:
As a Floor Layer, you'll be a key part of the team, carrying out responsive and planned repairs in both occupied and void properties. You'll work efficiently and safely, using a handheld device to receive and complete assigned tasks while ensuring an excellent customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing floors and fitting carpets, vinyl, and wet room floors.
Performing hot welding for wet room floors.
Working to deliver the best quality service, on time, for the first time.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Qualifications:
NVQ2 Floor Laying or a relevant City and Guilds qualification.
Experience in social housing or domestic environments is essential.
Proven experience in preparing floors and fitting various flooring types.
An excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety (H&S).
A customer-focused approach with a passion for high-quality repairs.
Requirements:
A full UK driving license held for a minimum of 12 months, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use.
Ideally, you'll hold a CSCS Card.
