Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Groundworker on this site, your day-to-day duties will specifically focus on:
- Trench Excavation: Digging, preparing, and safely managing trenches for drainage and utility installations.
- Drainage & Pipework: Laying and installing new pipework and drainage systems to exact site specifications.
- Connections Work: Executing accurate connections to existing and new drainage systems, ensuring all joints are secure and fully operational.
- Safe Trench Working: Working closely alongside 360 Excavators, banking machines, and strictly adhering to all deep excavation health and safety protocols.
- Tickets: A valid CSCS Card is strictly required (CPCS/NPORS for Dumper/Roller is a bonus but not essential).
- Tools & Equipment: Must have your own standard hand tools relevant to drainage works.
- PPE: Your own 5-point Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, high-vis vest, steel-toe safety boots, gloves, and glasses).
- Experience: Proven, solid experience specifically in deep/shallow drainage, pipework, and trenching.
- Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
