Location: Erith
We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Groundworker to join our team for an immediate start on a large-scale pipe-laying project in Erith.
This is a technical, high-impact role involving the installation of large-diameter pipes at deep drainage as deep as 3 metres. If you're local to the area and ready to get on-site tomorrow, let's talk.
The Role
You will be a key part of a dedicated drainage gang, responsible for the installation and connection of heavy-duty piping systems.
Deep Drainage: Safe installation of large pipes pipes and deep drainage with depths of 3m.
Large-Scale Pipework: Handling and laying large-diameter concrete and plastic pipes.
Shoring & Safety: Working strictly within trench boxes and shoring systems.
Precision: Setting out to laser levels and ensuring correct gradients.
Coordination: Working alongside 360 Excavator Operators to manage bedding, laying, and backfilling.
Requirements
Experience: Proven track record in deep drainage and heavy pipe laying is essential.
Reliability: You must be able to start ASAP and commute to Erith daily.
Tickets/Certifications:
Valid CSCS Card (Required).
Confined Spaces (Highly Desirable).
CPCS/NPORS for Dumper/Roller (Advantageous).
Safety Mindset: Total competence in working around deep excavations and heavy plant.
Project Details
Location: Erith (Greater London/Kent border).
Pay: £20 - £23 per hour.
Duration: Ongoing work for the right candidate (Long Term).
Hours: Standard site hours (Mon-Fri), with potential overtime.
