Rate: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour (Experience & Tickets dependent)

The Role
We are looking for hardworking, "all-rounder" Groundworkers to join a major civils project in the West Midlands. This isn't just a "digging holes" job; we need skilled operatives who understand the complexities of deep drainage, ducting, and finishing works on high-profile infrastructure sites.
You will be working as part of a tight-knit gang, reporting directly to the Site Foreman. If you have a solid pair of hands and a proactive mindset, there is plenty of long-term work available.
Key Responsibilities
Drainage & Ducting: Laying various pipes (concrete and plastic) and installing manholes/chambers.
Excavation Support: Working safely alongside machine operators for trenching and foundation work.
Concreting: Assisting with pours, levelling, and finishing (including kerbing and flagging).
Service Installation: Laying ducting for electrics, water, and telecoms.
Site Preparation: Ensuring the ground is graded and prepared according to engineer drawings.
Requirements
CSCS Card: Mandatory (Green or Blue).
CPCS/NPORS Tickets: Highly desirable (specifically Dumper/Roller, Slinger, or Cat & Genny).
Experience: Proven experience in a civils-based groundworks role (Drainage experience is a must).
Physical Fitness: The role is demanding and requires working in all weather conditions.
Reliability: You must be punctual and have your own reliable transport to site.
